WALTER EDWARD FINNELL, 92, of Council Bluffs (a native of rural Massena), died Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Northcrest Living Center, in Council Bluffs. Graveside services with Military Honors for WALTER FINNELL will be held 11:30-a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Weirich Cemetery, southeast of Lyman. Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold is assisting the family.

His sons – Eldon (Ronette) Finnell, of Cumberland, and Edward Finnell and Kathleen, of Council Bluffs.
