AUBURN, Ala. – University of Iowa divers Geneva Pauly and Lainey Woodward are competing at the 2025 USA Diving Nationals meet, beginning on May 8 at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center.

Pauly will compete in the platform dive beginning on Thursday with the qualifying round. Further rounds of the tower dive include the semifinals on Tuesday, May 13 and the finals on Thursday, May 15.

Pauly, a junior from Arvada, Colorado, placed 10th at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships. At the USA Winter Diving Championships, Pauly placed 20th from the platform. She reached the qualifying standard in all three dives during the 2024-25 season.

Woodward is slated to compete in the 1-meter dive, beginning with the qualifier round on May 10. A top 12 finish in the prelim will advance Woodward to the finals, which are on May 12.

The junior from Omaha, Nebraska, posted a season-best 283.95 points from the 1-meter springboard in Iowa’s win over rival Iowa State on Dec. 13.
