MICHAEL “Mike” ROGER RASMUSSEN, 78, of Exira, died Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at home. A Mass of Christian Burial for MICHAEL RASMUSSEN will be held 10:30a-a.m. Monday, May 12, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Exira. Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home has the arrangements.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at the Exira Event Center in Exira.
Burial will be in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors.
MIKE RASMUSSEN is survived by:
His wife – Kay, of Exira.
His daughters – Jill (Matt) Strohmeyer, of St. Louis, MO;  Toni Spruell, of Fort Collins, CO., and Trisha (Bruce) Boehm, of Carroll.
His sons – Matt Rasmussen, of Denison; and  Joe (Abby) Rasmussen, of Exira.
His sisters – Pat Rice of West Des Moines, Marti Kafer of Concord, CA; Katie Graff, of The Woodlands, TX, and Sheila (Roger) Richards, of Dallas, TX.
His brothers  – Charlie (Jo) Rasmussen of Mission Viejo, CA; Gary (Carol Lea) Rasmussen of Exira; and Frank (Dorothy) Rasmussen of Tempe, AZ.
14 grandchildren;his in-laws, and other relatives.
