MARVIN GENE CARTER, 76, of Oakland, died Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. A Celebration of Life service for MARVIN CARTER will be held 11-a.m. Monday, June 2nd, 2025, at the Carson Community Building, in Carson (IA). Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Monday at the Carson Community Bldg. from 10-until 11-a.m., Monday.

MARVIN CARTER is survived by:

His wife – Donna.

His stepchildren: Dawn (and wife Jeri); Melinda (Dave) Comstock.

His sisters – Dorothy (Gary) Buse; Cinda (Jerry) Frain, and Grace (Rick) Eyeburg.

His brother – Lee Carter.

Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his daughter-in-law Michelle Kramer; and other relatives.
