Indiana Fever cruise in Caitlin Clark’s return to Iowa

Former Iowa star Caitlin Clark scored 16 points in 19 minutes of action in her return to Iowa City as the Indiana Fever rolled to a 108-44 victory, Sunday, over the Brazilian national team in sold out Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Clark was four-of-six from three point range and grabbed six rebounds while adding five assists as she deals with a leg injury that kept her out of Indiana’s exhibition opener.

It was an emotional return for Clark, who led Iowa to back-to-back trips to the NCAA championship game.

Clark says playing exhibition games on college campuses is a great way to take the game to the fans.

White says getting Clark back on the floor was a boost on offense.

The Fever connected on 15 three pointers, including 12 in the opening half as they raced out to a 70-24 lead at halftime.
