(Griswold, Iowa) – The Griswold Community School District’s Board of Education, Monday night, during their regular monthly meeting, approved an independent Girls Wrestling Program, and not renewing their program sharing agreement with Red Oak. Superintendent Dave Henrichs said the program will start with the 2025-26 school year.

The district had been sharing with Red Oak for the past two-years. Prior to that, Griswold girls wrestling had been shared with CAM and Southwest Valley. The Board’s decision does not affect the team name or logo.
