The route former Iowa State offensive lineman Jaylen Travis designed to the NFL has paid off. After starting his college career at Princeton, Travis used his graduate transfer year to play at ISU. He started 11 games at left tackle and was taken by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round of last month’s NFL Draft. He took part in rookie mini-camp last weekend.

Travis says Iowa State was a perfect fit for him.

Travis says the Colts’ coaching staff went to work immediately after the draft to help his transition to the NFL.
