DAVID GERARD GROSS, 65, of Des Moines, died Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Mercy Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial for DAVID GROSS will be held 10:30-a.m. Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling is on Wed., May 21st, from 5-until 7-p.m., with a Rosary at 7-p.m.

Burial is in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

His sons – Taylor Gross, of Fremont, NE., and Tanner Gross, of Omaha.

His brothers – Duane (Liz Kearney) Gross, of Omaha; Dean Gross, of Cedar Rapids, and Declan (Gayla) Gross, of Earling.

His sisters – Joanie Erlbacher, of Earling; Kathy (Mike Laumann) Leuschen, of Flower Mound, TX, and Jeanne (Tom) Filbey, of Papillion, NE.

His brother-in-law, Ed Lapke, of Dunlap, and his Ex-wife, Jolene Brown, of Omaha.
