(Creston, Iowa) – A woman from Union County died following an accident Sunday evening, north of Creston. According to the Iowa State Patrol, the driver of a 2018 Ford Focus – 22-year-old Amber D. Lacina, of Creston – died from injuries she suffered, when her vehicle left southbound Highway 25 near 140th Street and entered a ditch, where it rolled several times before coming to rest. The accident happened at around 5-p.m.

Lacina – who was not wearing a seat belt – was ejected from the car. She was transported to the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston, where she died.
