CAROLYN BINTZ, 89, of Avoca, died Monday, May 19, 2025. Funeral services for CAROLYN BINTZ will be held 10-a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Minden United Church of Christ, in Minden (IA). Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca has the arrangements.

The family will greet friends at the Minden United Church of Christ, on Friday, from 5-until 7-p.m.

A luncheon will be held at the church on Saturday, from Noon until 1-p.m.

Burial is in the Minden Cemetery.

CAROLYN BINTZ is survived by:

Her son – Dwight Bintz, of Avoca.

Her daughters – Denise (Ron) Nihsen, and Deloma (Ben) Fischer, all of Minden; and Diane (Don) Mills, of Weeping Water, NE.

Her brother – Gordon (Karen) Reinert, of Glenwood.

Her sister – Janice Hiley, of Council Bluffs.

10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; Her  sister-in-law Waunita Reinert, of Glenwood; Her brother-in-law Carroll Bintz, of Neola.
