The Atlantic baseball team begins their season Monday with a home contest against the Griswold Tigers. The Trojans come off a one-win season from a season ago, but Head Coach Nathan Block says a season ago left a bad taste in their mouths and are operating a little differently.

The Trojans bring back a ton of experience as there were zero seniors on last year’s team. Block says there are several players he has been impressed with in the preseason including one transfer.

In the beginning of the season, Block plans to rotate players in and out while seeing what works best for his team.

With 37 players in the program, the Trojans feel like depth will not be an issue this spring. Atlantic plays 23 regular season games this year with 20 0f them being against Hawkeye Ten opponents.
