Depth a Key Factor for Riverside Girls Golf
April 2nd, 2025 by Christian Adams
The Riverside Girls Golf team is excited about the balance and depth they believe they have f0r the upcoming golf season. The Bulldogs bring back four players who all compete with one another. Sophomore Kaycie Perkins was the only Bulldog of the four to crack 50 in her first meet as a high school golfer.
Riverside loses their top golfer from a season ago in Addison Brink who went on to play at Simpson College, but Head Coach Mitch Rice says he’s confident those shoes can be filled.
The Bulldogs begin their season Tuesday, April 8th in a dual with IKM-Manning in Oakland followed by another competition with Missouri Valley three days later. Riverside will get the chance to compete four times throughout the season at Oakland Country Club. Throughout the course of the season, Rice wants improvement with postseason admirations.
The goals for the 2025 Riverside Bulldogs are more than an opportunity at the State Tournament but to leave a mark on the program’s history.
