The Audubon Girls Tennis team has hit the midway point of the season, and the Wheelers have won two of the three duals they’ve competed in. Audubon competed at the Atlantic Invite last week finishing fourth. However, Head Coach McKenzie Nissen was very impressed with the performance.

Earlier in the season, the Wheelers opened up the year with wins over Red Oak and Southwest Valley, while falling to Harlan. Despite missing a few key pieces in that competition, Nissen noticed the fight in her group.

The entire Wheeler roster is made of upperclassmen, boosting the team’s camaraderie and vocal skills on the court.

Nissen added how it’s even more impressive with players coming from multiple schools.

The Wheelers have three competitions left and look to finish strong this Spring.
