ALICE THERESA RAU, 89, of Harlan, died Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Elm Crest Retirement Community, in Harlan. A Mass of Christian Burial for ALICE RAU will be held 11-a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima, in Portsmouth. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Mary’s is on Tuesday, April 8th, from 4-until 7-p.m., with a Rosary at 7-p.m.

Burial is in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Portsmouth.

Her daughters – Connie (Larry) Mick, and Jolene (Steve) Mikuls, all of Omaha, NE; Joan (Dan) Schechinger, of Harlan;, Ronda (Randy) Schaben, of Portsmouth; Leslie (Jamie) Goetz, of Defiance, and Keri (Gary) Holstein, of Lincoln, NE.

Her sons – Bob (Donna) Rau, of Lincoln, NE; NS Craig Rau (Julie Sonntag), of Portsmouth.

Her sister – Marilyn Alfers, of Neola.

Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
