RICHARD “Butch” THOMPSON, Jr., 60, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his home.  Funeral services for RICHARD “BUTCH” THOMPSON, JR., will be held 10-a.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Greenfield United Methodist Church. Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.

Visitation at the funeral home is on Sunday, March 16th, from 1-until 5-p.m., with the family greeting friends from 3-until 5-p. m.

Burial is in the Hebron Cemetery.

A luncheon at the Greenfield United Methodist Church will follow the burial.

Memorials may be made to the Richard “Butch” Thompson, Jr. Memorial Fund to be established by the family.

His daughter – Michelle (Bill) Landers, of Exira, and Kelcie (Wesley) Thompson, of Hastings, NE.

His son – Hunter (Kortney) Thompson, of Greenfield.

His mother – Ginger Thompson, of Greenfield.

His sisters – Sherri (Darin) Beitz, of Fontanelle, and Brenda (John) Clayton, of Greenfield.

5 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
