ELIZABETH “Betty J” SIMONSEN, 96, of Exira, died Friday, February 28, 2025, at Cass Healh in Atlantic. A Mass of Christian burial for ELIZABETH SIMONSEN will be held 10:30-a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Exira. Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Exira has the arrangements.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 9:30-until 10:30-a.m., at the church,

Burial will follow at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Exira.  A Luncheon will be served at the Parrish Hall following the committal service.

Memorials can be made in her name, and the family will designate at a later date.

Her daughter – Julie (Paul) Christensen, of Brayton.

3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandsons; her sisters-in-laws, Jane and Wand Wolf of Atlantic, as well as many nieces and nephews.
