BEVERLY DORSEY, 84, of Anita,  died Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic. A Memorial service for BEVERLY DORSEY will be held 10-a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.

Visitation with the family present will be from 5-until 7-p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the funeral home.  A luncheon is planned for following the services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial is in the Brighton Township Cemetery near Marne.

Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the City of Atlantic Animal Shelter, and can be left at, or mailed to the funeral home, at PO Box 523 – Atlantic, IA 50022.

BEVERLY DORSEY is survived by:

Her daughters – Tammie Jens (& Dennis Jayne), and Paula Jens (& Steve Mundorf).

Her son – Stan (Michelle) Jens.

Her brother – Ron (Char) Gress.

4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; a Special Grandaughter – Taylor; her brother-in-law, a vast number of friends, special friends, and coworkers.
