VELMA VERLE [Lembke] POWERS, 96, of Griswold, died on February 2, 2025 at the Heritage House, in Atlantic. A Celebration of Life service for VELMA POWERS will be held at 11-a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at the Central Church of Christ in Griswold. Casual dress is requested. Rieken Funeral Home in Griswold has the arrangements.

Memorials can be given to the Macedonia Fund at the Central Church of Christ or the Cass County Museum.

Her daughter – Celeste (Bob) Peck, of Griswold.

Her sons – Drue (Sherry) Powers, of Red Oak and Cole (Kim) Powers, of Griswold

Her adopted daughter – Silvana Feitosa, of Brazil.

8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
