Mr. LYNN DORSEY, 88, of Anita, died Friday, February 21, 2025, at the Exira Care Center, in Exira. Funeral services for LYNN DORSEY will be held at 10:30-a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.

Public visitation at the funeral home will be held from 5-until 7-p.m. Tuesday, February 25th.

A luncheon in the community room at the funeral home, will follow the funeral service on Wednesday.

After the luncheon, committal will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita.

Memorials may be directed to the Lynn Dorsey Family. They will be designated at a later date, and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.

LYNN DORSEY is survived by:

His daughters – Becky (Bernard) Vais, and Sally (Terry) Kloppenburg.

His son – Dan Dorsey.

His step-daughter:  Lori Erickson,

And step-son: Cody Trent.

7 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, his in-laws, and very dear friend, Dr. Mike Rosmann.
