JOHN WEPPLER, 88, of Atlantic [& formerly of rural Lewis], died Friday, February 14, 2025, at Heritage House in Atlantic. Funeral services for JOHN WEPPLER will be held at 10:30-a.m. on February 28th, 2025, at the Lewis United Congregational Methodist Church. Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic has the arrangements.

Visitation at the funeral home, with the family present, will be held Feb. 27th, from 5-until 7-p.m.

Burial, with Military Honors by the Atlantic Color Guard, will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Lewis.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation to the Lewis United Congregational Methodist Church, the Lewis Fire Department and the Lewis Community Center.

His daughters – Vickie (Dale) Retallic, and Susan (Norm) Hoeck, all of Atlantic, and Julie (Craig) Gussow, of Allen, TX

His sons – Kenneth (Heather Link) Weppler, of Lewis, and Kirk (Suzan) Weppler, of Portland, OR.

His sister – Barbra (Dick) Kunze, of Atlantic.

6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
