Iowa officially retired the jersey number 22 of former star Caitlin Clark on Sunday. The two-time national player-of-the-year is college basketball’s all-time leading scorer and led the Hawkeyes to back-to-back trips to the NCAA title game.

Clark finished her first season in the WNBA by being names rookie of the year and leading the Indiana Fever to the players for the first time since 2016.

While Clark and many of her teammates have moved on she feels the culture of the program remains the same.

Clark says the future of the program is bright.
