January 5th, 2025 by Ric Hanson
Drake’s 28-game home court winning streak was snapped by Murray State. The Racers scored the final seven points of the game for a 66-59 victory. The Bulldogs had rallied from a 12 point deficit to take the lead with just over two minutes remaining. It was Drake’s second straight loss after a 12-0 start.
That’s Drake coach Ben McCollum. Murray State shot 62 percent in the second half and made the key shots down the stretch.
With starting guard Isaiah Jackson sidelined with an injury, freshman Isiah Howard stepped in and scored a season high 13 points and added six rebounds.
