LEO RECHTENBACH, 92, of Walnut, died Jan. 22nd, 2025, at Jennie Edmondson Hospital in Council Bluffs, after a short illness. A Memorial service for LEO RECHTENBACH will be held at Noon on Saturday, Feb. 1st, at the First Presbyterian Church, in Walnut. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca has the arrangements.

The family will greet friends at the church on Saturday, from 10:30-a.m. until Noon.

Burial will be held at a later date.

LEO RECHTENBACH is survived by:

His daughter – Bobbie (Jim) McDermott, of Walnut.

His sons – Marc Rechtenbach, of Shelby, and Eric Rechtenbach, of Walnut.

His sisters – Elma Schrader, of Jefferson, and Norma Darling, of Council Bluffs.

3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, his sisters-in-law, other relatives and many friends.
