Iowa women fall to Nebraska in OT
January 17th, 2025 by Ric Hanson
The Iowa Hawkeye women suffered their fourth straight loss. The Hawkeyes squandered an 11 point fourth quarter lead and fell to Nebraska 87-84 in overtime. It was the Husker’s first win in Carver-Hawkeye Arena since 2018. Iowa missed critical free throws down the stretch and finished 16 of 29 at the line.
That’s Iowa coach Jan Jensen. The Hawkeyes fall to 2-5 in the Big Ten and Jensen is concerned about their confidence.
Hannah Stuelke led the way with 16 points and added 16 rebounds as Iowa falls to 12-6 overall.
