VIRGIL RAY HILDEBRAND, 98, of Atlantic (& formerly of Hancock), died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at the Heritage House in Atlantic. Funeral services for VIRGIL HILDEBRAND will be held 10:30-a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, at the Hancock United Methodist Church in Hancock (IA). Rieken-Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland has the arrangements.

Visitation with the family will held from 5-until 7-p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024, at the funeral home.

Interment is in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

His son – Bill, of Thoreau, NM.

His daughters – Jan (Dwayne) Lockhart, of Dystart, IA, and Joyce (Gary) Beedle, of Avoca.

12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; other relatives, and friends.
