(Atlantic, Iowa – KJAN) – Weather data for the month of March, 2024 in Atlantic, shows we were warmer and wetter than average. The Average High last month was 54, and the average Low was 27. Typically, we would have had an average High of 48 and an average Low of 26. Precipitation (rain & melted snowfall) amounted to 3.28 inches last month, which nine-tenths (.9″) of an inch above the norm, and helped to put a dent in our drought, according to the latest drought monitor.
