VIRGINIA LOU ASKELAND, 89, of Atlantic, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024. Funeral services for VIRGINIA ASKELAND will be held 11-a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at the Faith Lutheran Church, in Griswold. Rieken Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold in assisting the family.

Visitation with the family will be held at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Interment will be in Dell Lutheran Cemetery in Frost, MN.

VIRGINIA ASKELAND is survived by:

Her daughter – Kim Askeland, and Tina (Kevin) Sindt, all of Griswold.

Her son – Todd (Nancy) Askeland, of Atlantic.

Her sister – Marlene Bruellman, of Frost, MN;

Her brother – Dwight (Margret) Bruellman, of Steamboat, CO;

13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and her in-laws.
