DOUGLAS J. BAKER, 78, of Harlan, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at Myrtue Medical Center, in Harlan. A Mass of Christian Burial for DOUG BAKER will be held 11-a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan is on Thursday, from 9-until 11-a.m.

Burial is in the Harlan Cemetery.

His wife – Mary Baker, of Harlan.

His son – Maxwell (Sarah) Baker, of Grinnell.

His daughter – Sarah Baker, of Omaha, NE.

His sisters – Susan (Raymond) Arnold, of Minden, and Michelle (Gary) Blum, of Harlan.

5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
