JEAN MARY “JEANIE” HEESE, 79, of Elk Horn died Monday, September 18, 2023 at her home.  Mass of Christian Burial for JEAN MARY “JEANIE” HEESE will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance.  Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a rosary prayed at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial in the Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery in Defiance.

Sons:  Patrick Heese of Elk Horn; Timothy Heese of Shenandoah; Thomas (Sheila) Heese; Sam (Megan) Heese of Exira.

Daughters:  Jackie (Todd) Alberti of Harlan; Crystal (Rick) Widemon of Quitman, TX.

Sisters:  Sister Joyce Blum of Council Bluffs; Alice (Jerry) Zimmerman of Minden; Judy Clark of Omaha.
