DARLENE ANN KERN, 94, of Shelby, died Saturday, July 29, 2023, in Des Moines. Funeral services for DARLENE KERN will be held 11-a.m. Wednesday, August 2nd (2023), at the Salem United Methodist Church, in Council Bluffs. Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home has the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Salem United Methodist Church, in Council Bluffs, on Wednesday, from 10-until 11-a.m.

Burial is in the Shelby Cemetery.

Her daughters – Kathryn (Douglas) Pierce of Norwalk; Vicki (Michael) Mueller, of Silverthorne, CO., & Connie (Craig) Darrington, of Neola.

Her son – Stanley (Cathryn) Kern, of Shelby.

A brother – Glenn (Betty) Dohrmann, of Cedarburg, WI.

9 Grandchildren, 19 Great-grandchildren, Other Relatives & Friends.
