The UNI men’s basketball team came up a bucket short against Grand Canyon 69-67 in the consolation game of the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City on Tuesday. Grand Canyon grabbed a 41-27 lead at half and UNI’s rally in the second came up short. The Panthers got close in the final minute, but the Antelopes iced the game at the foul line.

Bowen Born led UNI with 19 points and Tytan Anderson had 18 points and 12 rebounds.

UNI falls to 1-3 on the young season and will next up host Northern Illinois on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
