Drake weathered a second half rally to beat Tarleton State 71-64 to win the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands. The Bulldogs never trailed and iced the game by making 25 of 31 from the foul line as they improve to 5-0. It was the 100th career win for Bulldog coach Darian DeVries in just his fifth season at the helm.

Tucker DeVries was five of five from the field and made all eight of his free throws to finish 22 points. He was named the tournament MVP.
