Cardinals fall to the Orioles 3-2 on Thursday

The St. Louis Cardinals fell to the Baltimore Orioles for the second straight day, a 3-2 loss on Thursday afternoon at Busch Stadium. The Orioles got a solo shot from Anthony Bemboom in the 7th to tie the game and Cedric Mullins drove in Chris Owings on a single to give the O’s the wining run.

The Cardinals attempted to rally from down 3-0 but only got one run in each of the 7th and 8th innings. Dylan Carlson scored one of those runs on a solo homer.

The Orioles improved to 14-18 and the Cardinals fell to 17-14 on the season. The Cardinals will stay home to host the Giants over the weekend. Friday’s game will be a 7:15 p.m. first pitch. We’ll have coverage on KJAN with pregame at 6:20 p.m.
