The Iowa Hawkeye baseball team will return to its original pitching rotation for this weekend’s Big Ten series against Minnesota. Hawkeye coach Rick Heller says Adam Mazur has return from a hip injury and will start tonight’s (Friday night’s) series opener. Connor Schultz is back from injury and will get Saturday’s start. That will allow Dylan Nedved to resume his closer role and shore up a bullpen that struggled last week against Illinois.

Heller says when healthy it is the Hawkeyes’ best rotation.

The Hawkeyes are 3-3 in the Big Ten after dropping two of three games against the Illini. They responded with a 16-2 win at Milwaukee Tuesday night.

Minnesota is 1-5 in the Big Ten but Heller says the Gophers played well last week against a good Maryland team.
