The Iowa women’s basketball team improved to 7-3 with a dominating 93-56 win over Evansville on Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game was a replacement for a match-up with Illinois that was postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Illinois program.

Caitlin Clark had a historic day scoring a Carver-Hawkeye Arena record 44 points. That total was a career high for Clark and in the process she surpassed 1,000 point mark for her career in the first quarter. She reached the mark faster than any other women’s basketball player in Big Ten history.
