The Iowa women’s basketball team was knocked off by Northwestern on Thursday 77-69. Veronica Burton led the Wildcats with 25 points 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Melanie Daley added 22 for the Cats and they improved to 10-3 overall and 2-0 in Big Ten.

Caitlin Clark had 30 points and went a perfect 13-13 at the free throw line. Monika Czinano added 20 points.

The Wildcats outscored the Hawkeyes by 10 in the second half to grab the win.
