The Drake Bulldogs picked up a Missouri Valley Conference win over Evansville on Saturday 60-59. Drake overcame a double-digit first half deficit to pick up the win. The Bulldogs outscored the Purple Aces 33-26 in the second half.

Tucker DeVries finished with 15 points, DJ Wilkins had 11, and Darnell Brodie had 10.

Drake men’s basketball is scheduled to play next against Illinois State inside the Knapp Center on Wednesday (Jan. 12) at 7 p.m.
