(Guthrie Center, Iowa) – The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office today (Monday), issued a report on an accident that occurred during last Wednesday’s violent storms. Authorities say 54-year-old Charles Troy McNeill, of Woodward, was driving a 2007 Peterbilt semi tractor pulling an empty livestock trailer, when he encountered a high gust of wind due to the storms. The cab and trailer were blown onto the driver’s side. The accident happened at around 5:29-p.m., as McNeill was traveling east on Highway 141. There were no injuries. The semi tractor/trailer sustained a total of $50,000 damage.
