Adams County Sheriff’s report for 11/15/21-through 12/3/21

(Corning, Iowa) – Officials with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office have released a report on arrests and citations covering the period of Nov. 15 through Dec. 3.

  • On Friday, Dec. 3rd, 33-year-old Corry Donald Johnston was arrested following a traffic stop. He was taken into custody for Driving While Barred and on three warrants for Failure to Appear. Johnston was being held in the Adams County Jail on a $2,600 bond.
  • On Nov. 28th, 32-year-old Nathan Eugene Myers turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office. Myers was wanted on a warrant for Theft 5th Degree. He was released from custody after posting a $300.
  • The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports 20-year-old Jadon Justus Loe was cited November 27th following a traffic stop, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Minor in Possession of Alcohol. He was released from the scene on the citation.
  • On Nov. 25th, 19-year-old Isaiah James Lovell was arrested on warrants for Theft 1st Degree, Burglary 3rd Degree and Operation (of a vehicle) without Owners Consent.
  • November 24th, Adams County Deputies arrested, during a traffic stop, 27-year-old Austin Wayne Hale. He was charged with Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle without an Interlock Device, and cited for Failure to Maintain Control. Hale was transported to the Adams County Jail and held without bond until seen by a magistrate.
  • 50-year-old Jesse Lee Simmons was arrested November 23rd in Adams County, for Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Simmons was transported to the Adams County Jail where he was held on $1,000 bond.
  • On the 15th of November, 25-year-old Matthew Christopher Avila turned himself in to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. Avila was wanted on an Adams County warrant for Operating While Intoxicated 3rd Offense. The warrant was issued following an incident that took place on September 18th. Avila posted the required bond and was released.
