The Iowa State Cyclones came alive in the second half and blew past Texas 30-7 on Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames. The Cyclones were down 7-3 at halftime but Breece hall quickly turned that around with a 47-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter and the Cyclones pulled away.

Tarique Milton caught a 49-yard score from wideout Xavier Hutchinson on a trick play mid third quarter. Hall added another rushing score and Andrew Mevis kicked two field goals in the fourth to seal it.

Hall finished with 140 yards on 19 carries in the game. He extends his streak of consecutive games with a rushing touchdown to 21, the third best streak in NCAA FBS history. He also grabbed his 18th career multi-TD game, 4th most in Big 12 history.

Iowa State improved to 6-3 overall and 4-2 in the Big 12. Next up for the Cyclones is a road trip to Texas Tech next Saturday. That game has been set for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff.
