(Harlan, Iowa) – The Harlan Police Department, Tuesday, said there were three arrests last week. On Oct. 30th, 19-year-old Brandon Michael Birks, of Defiance, was arrested following a traffic stop. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Oct. 28th, Harlan Police arrested 41-year-old Juan Carlos Larumbe Carmona, of Denison, following a traffic stop. He was charged with Failure to obey a stop sign, providing false information, and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.

And, on the 27th, 29-year-old Edward Lloyd Auciello, of Ankeny, was arrested following a call about a disturbance in Harlan. He was charged with Assault.
