Iowa takes down Indiana in opener

The No. 17 Iowa Hawkeyes cruised past No. 18 Indiana in a 34-6 rout on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium.Riley Moss ran two first half interceptions back for touchdowns to lead the Hawkeyes to a big first half lead and ultimately to victory.
Tyler Goodson led the offense with 99 yards and a score on 19 carries. Spencer Petras threw for 145 yards and ran for a touchdown. Sam LaPorta caught five passes for 83 yards.
Indiana quarterback Michael Pennix was inaccurate in his return to the lineup after a season ending injury late last year. He threw a total of three interceptions on the day and was just 14-31 passing on the day.
Iowa now prepares for a road trip to Ames for the CyHawk game with Iowa State.
