Accident in Montgomery County results in an arrest for OWI; Red Oak Police make OWI arrest

An investigation into an accident Saturday night in Montgomery County resulted in an arrest. Sheriff’s officials say at around 9:50-p.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office took a report of an accident on Highway 34 at G Avenue. At the scene, deputies found probable cause to arrest the driver of the vehicle, Benjamin E. Maxwell, of Nebraska, for OWI/1st offense. Maxwell was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and held on $1,000 bond.

And, Police in Red Oak arrested a man on an OWI charge, Saturday night. 31-year-old Robert Dale Filloon, of Sioux City, was arrested at around 10:34-p.m. in the 1800 block of N. 4th Street, for OWI/2nd offense, and Driving WHhle Suspended. He was being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
