OTTUMWA, Iowa — The Ottumwa Police Department is asking for assistance locating Helen Elizabeth Showalter. The 60-year-old Ottumwa resident is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds. She was last seen walking away from a vehicle near the Garrison Rock Park in Wapello County. Showalter has preexisting medical condition and doesn’t have her medications on her. Her family reported her missing on Saturday. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Ottumwa Police Department at 641-683-0661.
