A Malvern man sustained unknown injuries during a rollover accident on August 12th. 31-year-old Scott Martin of Malvern was traveling east bound on HIghway 34 in a 1999 Toyota when he left the roadway onto the south side shoulder. The Toyota then went into the ditch and hit two roadside signs before swerving back across the roadway. The vehicle then rolled across the roadway and onto its side in the median. Martin was able to free himself by kicking out a window and he sustained several minor injuries.

Martin was looking in the surrounding wooded area when Mills County Deputies arrived because his dog had been thrown from the vehicle during the rollover. Martin stated that he was looking at his phone when the accident occurred.
