(Harlan, Iowa) – A Shelby County man has won a $10,000 lottery prize.  Patrick McMurtry, of Harlan, won the big prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “$100,000 Mega Crossword” scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Taylor Quik Pik, 2111 23rd St. in Harlan, and claimed his prize last Wednesday at lottery headquarters in Clive.

The $100,000 Mega Crossword is a $10 scratch game that features overall odds are about 1 in 3, with 38 top prizes of $100,000.
