2 arrests in Creston, 1 home break-in reported

The Creston Police Department reports two arrests and one home break-in. Authorities say at around 9:30-a.m. Sunday, 37-year-old Robert Kingery, of Creston, was arrested in the 200 block of Myrtle, on an Assault charge. Kingery was released from the Union County Jail on a $300 bond. And, at around 7:50-a.m. Friday, Creston Police arrested 41-year-old Bart Dunkerson, of Creston, at his residence. Dunkerson was taken into custody on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense and Possession of Paraphernalia. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $1,300 bond.

Sunday morning, a Creston woman residing in the 200 block of S. Lincoln Street, reported to Police that sometime over the past week, her home was broken into and numerous items were taken. The items include: 2 Jewelry Boxes with jewelry; 2 Amazon Fire Sticks; a Tablet; 2 suitcases, and a Smith and Wesson .380 with sight in a Sleeve Holster.  The loss was estimated at approximately $2,110.
