An 18-year old Perry High School Senior died this weekend, from drowning. Perry High School Dan Marburger said in a social media post, “It is with sadness that I inform you of the death of Melanie Gonzalez, a senior at our school.”  He said also, funeral arrangements were pending, and will be announced as soon as possible. And, special counseling services will be made available to students starting Monday and will continue throughout the week and as long as needed.
