A man from Ringgold County was arrested Friday night on an assault charge. The Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office reports 33-year-old Andrew James  Cason, of Mount Ayr, was arrested a little after 11-p.m., for Domestic Abuse Assault-1st Offense.

He was booked into the Ringgold County Jail and held without bond until seen by a magistrate.
