CHICAGO (AP) — Baseball returns to a full schedule this year after last season was curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic. On deck is the return of the All-Star Game, and baseball’s version of movie night in Iowa. St. Louis slugger Nolan Arenado also goes back to Colorado after the Rockies traded the Gold Glove third baseman to the Cardinals on Feb. 1.

The Midsummer Classic is back after last year’s game was canceled, with the event being held at Atlanta’s Truist Park. In a tribute to “Field of Dreams,” the Yankees and White Sox head to a cornfield to play at the site in Iowa where the 1989 movie was filmed.
